GAMES AND SPORTS PRACTICES OF SUMMER CAMP

Abstract

Summer camp for students of specialty A7 «Physical Culture and Sports» is an innovative communicative platform, a specialized event that determines the professional development of a future coach, mentor or instructor, creates an objective basis for the exchange of theoretical knowledge between subjects of the educational process, and forms the conditions for the practical implementation of professional competencies of specialists in the field of physical culture and sports. Such meetings actually serve as an integration construct that combines interactive discussions of current problems, innovations in physical culture, practical training, methodological work on optimizing physical culture and health activities for Ukrainian students, etc., into a structured system. Therefore, the author team of this publication, based on an analysis of regulatory legal acts and scientific and methodological literature, identified problematic aspects of the training of higher education applicants, namely the insufficiency of using innovative opportunities in modern physical culture and sports. In philosophical terms, the training of future coaches requires active modernism. The summer camp should be considered as a period of active creative pedagogy of the future specialist in the field of physical culture and sports, as a foundation for the formation of their didactic competence and the implementation of methodological principles of training athletes in sports, and increasing the motor activity of students of all levels of national education. The obligatory leitmotif of the summer camp should be the formation of patriotic morality in higher education students, the development of national consciousness, and an active civic position based on traditional cultural values, a freedom-loving attitude of the Ukrainian people, respect for the state language, and a desire to preserve national identity. The forms of solving prognostic tasks at summer camps in higher education institutions are determined by the diversification of the combination of recreation, work, and sports with cognitive, ethical, environmental, and health-improving activities of both scientific and pedagogical workers and students.
