DIGITAL COMPETENCE OF SPORTS COACHES: DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

Taking into account the modern challenges of the digital transformation of the education of sports coaches, the development of the digital competence of students is of exceptional importance for the success of studies in higher education. The purpose of the study was to determine approaches to the development of digital competence of future sports coaches. To achieve the goal, the methods of scientific literature analysis, pedagogical modeling and comparative analysis were applied. The research used data from peer-reviewed sources selected from scientometric databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science. Based on the collected information, an analysis of the directions for the development of digital competence was carried out. As a result of the study, it was established that digital competence is an integrated personality characteristic that allows effective use of digital tools for educational, professional and research activities. The conducted research emphasized the importance of developing multidisciplinary approaches to the development of digital competence of future sports coaches. The main components of such strategies should be: digital technologies; artificial intelligence; development of teaching methodology. The results of the study indicate the need for a more active introduction of innovative technologies into the educational process of future sports coaches, which will allow more effective implementation of a personalized approach and the development of digital skills necessary for lifelong learning. The conducted analysis made it possible to identify educational vectors for the development of digital competence: technological; informative; communicative; safe Based on these vectors, an educational model for the development of digital competence of higher education graduates - future sports coaches based on an interdisciplinary approach is proposed. It was determined that the development of digital competence should take into account not only technical, but also socio-psychological aspects, which will contribute to the formation of future sports coaches of complex digital skills for professional activity. The obtained results deepen the understanding of the essence of digital competence and make it necessary to focus on the development of programs for its development as a full-fledged component of the holistic educational process in sports education.
