Abstract

Training modern athletes is only possible by improving the training process through modern technologies. One promising direction is the implementation of distance learning technologies in athletes' training activities, particularly in cybersports. Therefore, the task of the study was to determine the practicality of using elements of distance learning in training people engaged in e-sports. We used the analysis of theoretical and empirical research on the application of aspects of distance learning in cyber-athlete training. Using theoretical modeling methods made it possible to formulate provisions regarding introducing electronic learning elements into the physical training of cyber-athletes and the possibilities of its construction in a remote format. The results of the conducted research proved the difficulty of implementing a remote form of physical training organization in eSports and the insufficient empirical validity of this in the scientific and methodological literature. The problems of physical training of e-athletes in a remote format have been detected. The factors determining their qualitative solution during attempts to optimize motor training using modern information and communication tools have been detected. It is impossible to imagine creating a complete program for the physical training of cyber-athletes that could satisfy the requests of all participants in the training process, both in terms of organization and effectiveness. The most developed direction in such scientific research is the development of hybrid and mixed learning formats for cyber-sports. Scientists state the advantage of organizing movement training compared to the traditional format but under sufficient motivation and training of those who train. Means used in distance learning, which can qualitatively improve the physical training of cyber-athletes, have been determined. Further scientific research should be directed to programming and researching the peculiarities of the organization of physical training of cyber-athletes using elements of distance learning technology.
