The readiness’s formation of future specialists in physical therapy, occupational therapy for professional activity in rehabilitation centers

Abstract

The paper offers the problem’s solution of forming the readiness of future specialists in physical therapy, occupational therapy for professional activities in rehabilitation centers. The essence of the concepts «rehabilitation center», «readiness of future specialists in physical therapy, occupational therapy for professional activities in rehabilitation centers» and «the formation of readiness of future specialists in physical therapy, occupational therapy to professional activity in rehabilitation centers». For the first time a model  of future specialists’ readiness in physical therapy, occupational therapy for professional activity in rehabilitation centers is theoretically substantiated  and developed, consisting of target, theoretical-methodological, procedural and criterion-evaluation blocks, based on methodological approaches (system-activity, syllogistic, axiological, synergetic, personality-oriented, reflective, deontological, competence) and principles (scientific, consciousness and activity, variability, continuity and stages, clarity, interdisciplinary training, practice-oriented learning, modeling of professional activity), describes the forms (lectures, practical, seminars) laboratory classes, independent work, consultations, clinical practices, defense of term papers, participation in student scientific circles, scientific-practical conferences, competitions of scientific works, Olympiads in physical therapy, occupational therapy, final certification), methods (interactive), means (educational) manuals /methodical recommendations, workbook on the syllabuses’ practice of academic disciplines, information and communication educational resources, means of physical therapy and means of occupational therapy) and stages (educational-theoretical, educational-practical, reflective). Pedagogical conditions of effective implementation of the model’s  formation of readiness of future specialists in physical therapy, occupational therapy for professional activity in rehabilitation centers (updating the content of professional-oriented disciplines taking into account the specifics of professional activity in rehabilitation centers; the using of  innovative technologies in the educational process) level of higher education in the field of knowledge 22 "Health" specialty 227 "Physical therapy, occupational therapy"; integration of theoretical and practical training in the process of internships in rehabilitation centers).
