Abstract

Theoretically substantiated and developed pedagogical system of formation of visual and information culture of pre-service mathematics and computer science teachers in higher education institutions, which is aimed at forming integrative quality of personality – visual and information culture of pre-service mathematics and computer science teachers in higher education institutions, provides for three stages of formation (propaedeutic-motivational, cognitive-procedural, reflexive-corrective), which use traditional and innovative forms (lectures-demonstrations, problem lectures, training and test laboratory works, individual homework, pedagogical practice, master classes, consultations, scientific conferences, research work), methods (problem, project, task, brainstorming, netnography) and teaching means (educational resources, specialized software, cloud-oriented services, interactive applets, visualized tasks, augmented reality, cognitive-visual models), improving the content of computer science, mathematics and psychology; describes diagnostic tools (criteria and indicators) for determining the levels (low, medium, high) of the formation of visual and information culture. Scientific provisions of the theory and practice of formation of visual and information culture of pre-service mathematics and computer science teachers in higher education institutions; scientific ideas about the essence, structure, criteria and level features of the formation of visual and information culture of pre-service mathematics and computer science teachers are got further development.Statistical analysis of empirical data confirmed the probability of the research hypothesis on the effectiveness of the developed pedagogical system for the formation of visual information culture of pre-service teachers of mathematics and computer science in higher education institutions at a significance level of 0.05.
