DISTANCE EDUCATION AND THE AMBIVALENCE OF JUDGMENTS REGARDING ITS EFFECTIVENESS IN FORMING THE COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE OF FUTURE DOCTORS

The article carries out a theoretical analysis of the concepts of "distance learning" and "distance education" from the point of view of the concept of the development of distance education in Ukraine and the point of view of researchers who studied the issues of distance learning, distance education and technologies that enable the implementation of such types of educational process. The essence of concepts is defined and common and distinctive features are characterized; the ways of their intersection during the educational process in the medical institution of higher education are outlined. The peculiarities of the organization and implementation of the educational process in institutions of higher medical education in Ukraine during the Covid-19 pandemic and during the period of martial law are highlighted. Changes and innovations in the system of evaluating the knowledge, abilities and skills of higher education students during the educational process in forced uncomfortable conditions and their impact on the formation of knowledge, abilities and skills of future doctors of the first and second year of study are described. The advantages and disadvantages of the process of remote communication as one of the necessary forced conditions during the Covid-19 pandemic and during martial law are briefly described. The problems and situations that arise between future doctors and teachers in the process of remote communication are described, namely, during the performance of elementary tasks - oral answers with the definition of the concepts being studied, an extended justification of one's own opinion or one's own position on this or that issue, which is discussed, protection of one's own position in controversial situations that arise, etc. A personal opinion has been formulated regarding the distance education of students of higher medical education in Ukraine during the Covid-19 pandemic and during the period of martial law and its impact on the process of forming the communicative competence of future doctors.
