THE HEALTH SAVINGS OF HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENTS IN THE MODERN EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the issue of health saving of higher education students in the context of the modern educational environment, given the impact of digital technologies, psycho-emotional stress, and the peculiarities of organising the educational process under martial law. The purpose of the article is to develop effective strategies for improving the level of physical, psychological, and social well-being in the modern educational environment. Based on the analysis of the scientific and pedagogical literature on the research topic, the positive and negative effects of key factors on the health of higher education students, such as physical activity, nutrition, sleep, use of gadgets, and psycho-emotional state, are highlighted. A comparative analysis of the impact of various factors on the health of higher education students is provided. The author emphasises the importance of developing and implementing health promotion programmes in higher education institutions, which include regular exercise, healthy eating, psychological support, digital detoxification, and flexible class schedules. As part of the programmes, methodological recommendations were provided to the administration of the educational institution and research and teaching staff on how to support health promotion in the current educational environment caused by martial law. The recommendations relate to the organisation of a health-preserving educational environment, support for the physical health of students, support for the psycho-emotional well-being of higher education students, social support, and adaptation. The results of the study can be used in the planning and organisation of the educational environment in higher education institutions to optimise the process of supporting the health of higher education students. Promising areas for further research include the need to create a project aimed at supporting the health of higher education students in the modern educational environment.
