The article explores the effectiveness of applying interactive group-based learning methods in the training of IT specialists, in accordance with the modern educational paradigm. This paradigm requires students not only to acquire deep theoretical knowledge but also to develop practical, interpersonal, and analytical skills necessary for effective teamwork in the IT field. The theoretical section analyzes the essence of interactive learning methods, their connection with group-based learning, and the main didactic advantages of such approaches. Specifically, the main goals of interactive methods are identified, including the development of independent information-seeking and analytical skills, the promotion of teamwork, and the ability to form personal opinions based on reliable facts and reasoned conclusions. International studies are cited to demonstrate that group learning is more effective for cognitive development. In the practical section, the article presents the results of a survey involving 33 respondents, including students, teachers, and IT professionals. The study covered their experiences with group-based learning methods, types of interactive techniques used, the nature of participant interaction, role distribution, identified challenges, and the overall effectiveness of these approaches. The main trends in the use of interactive group-based learning methods are outlined, along with common forms of interaction, typical participant roles, optimal group sizes, and recurring difficulties encountered during the learning process. It is noted that respondents rated the effectiveness of interactive group-based learning methods highly, and the low standard deviation indicated consistency in their responses. The study concludes that the effective implementation of interactive group-based learning methods in IT-specialists training requires a holistic pedagogical approach.
