IMPLEMENTATION OF AN INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH IN VOCATIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE PHARMACISTS AT HIGHER MEDICAL SCHOOL

Abstract

The article argues the relevance of modern requirements for the vocational training of future specialists in the medical field, which are caused by rapid and progressive global changes in all directions of social development, including in the pharmaceutical industry. Scientific approaches for solving the problem of improvement of vocational training of future pharmacy specialists have been generalized. The necessity of updating vocational training of future pharmacists, which is due to new scientific discoveries in treatment methods and the creation of a new generation of effective medical drugs, has been emphasized. The expediency of using interdisciplinary integration in vocational training of future pharmaceutical workers, which is occasionally considered in scientific publications of domestic researchers, has been indicated. The necessity of using educational potential of an interdisciplinarity based on the implementation of an interdisciplinary approach at higher medical school, which will contribute to the formation of a competent, creative, ready for active analytical activity of the future specialist of the pharmaceutical industry, has been updated. The role of lecturers in the implementation of the interdisciplinary approach, which consists in the creation of an innovative educational environment based on the observance of the following principles of vocational training of future pharmacists, has been specified: comprehensive integrity, professional orientation, innovatization of the educational environment. The examples of creating innovative educational situations in studying discipline «Pharmaceutical Chemistry», which confirm the observance of the specified principles in the process of implementation of the interdisciplinary approach, have been given. The methodical aspects of using methods of conversation, brainstorming and quest have been described. It has been indicated that a creative approach of lecturers for the organization of educational process and improvement of educational and methodical support of educational process in the pharmaceutical institutions of higher education gives the possibility of increasing the level of interdisciplinarity of the system of vocational training of students who acquire the profession of pharmacist.
