MODERN APPROACHES TO THE USE OF VIRTUAL TOURS IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS OF COLLEGES

The article updates the problem of using virtual tours in the educational process. The role of virtual visibility in modern digital learning conditions is substantiated. The qualities of virtual tours that are important for the formation of knowledge are highlighted: the convenience of information perception, development of creative potential, expansion of worldview, and consolidation of knowledge. A virtual tour in the general sense is interpreted in the article as an imaginary model simulated with the help of computer technologies, which corresponds to a real, real phenomenon, a pedagogical plane - an organizational form of learning, characterized by a virtual display of actually existing objects in order to create conditions for the independent observation, preservation, and analysis of the necessary facts, etc. The goal of consideration and analysis of the theoretical and practical aspects of creating a virtual tour for the education of college students was set and fulfilled.
Considered methods of creating virtual tours from a technical point of view. Among them: the creation of interactive presentations (Prezi, Canva, Crello, Piktochart, Slides, Google presentations); creation of specialized sites (Wix, Google Sites, WordPress programs); use of geographic information systems (Mapillary, Tour Builder, Historypin, Tour Creator, Nearpod programs); object model creation, 3D modeling (Tinkercad, 3D Slash, SolidWorks, Creo programs); application of panoramic compositions (programs Image Composite Editor, Photo Gallery, Autostitch, Hugin Hugin, Dermandar Dermandar, Google Photos).
The characteristics of the programs, features of use, and tasks that can be performed by virtual excursions in the specified programs are given. It is emphasized that most programs are implemented in the Internet space as online services and have paid and free versions. For services designed to create panoramic excursions, their comparative characteristics are presented according to indicators: ease of use, functionality, and quality of the result. It has been proven that the variety of technical methods, software capabilities, digital competence, and the teacher's motivation to use advanced teaching methods and technologies create ideal conditions for using virtual tours for any discipline.
A series of introductory master classes on the creation of virtual excursions have shown an increase in the frequency of their use in the educational material of college disciplines.
