LANGUAGE PORTFOLIO AS A MODERN TEACHING TOOL IN THE PROCESS OF INDEPENDENT WORK OF FUTURE GERMAN LANGUAGE TEACHERS

The article examines the possibilities of using a language portfolio to organize and optimize independent educational activities of future teachers with the aim of mastering intercultural foreign language communicative competence. The language portfolio is characterized as a tool for learning a foreign language and culture. Its structural components and their functions during the formation of skills and abilities of German language communication are outlined.
Examples of content components for self-monitoring and self-evaluation of speech products in speech are given. A self-assessment form is illustrated for determining the level of the intercultural aspect, which covers cultural and communicative components and cultural relativism in the context of communication in the German language.
The professional literature on the problem of using the language portfolio was analyzed and its innovativeness was noted in terms of creating opportunities for individualization of the educational process and a creative approach to mastering intercultural foreign language communicative competence.
The using of the language portfolio by future teachers gives the educational process innovative characteristics, which stimulates individual, group independent work with the aim of improving German language skills and abilities at the intercultural level. The presented samples of self-assessment forms in speaking can be implemented in the educational process of future teachers of the German language.
The author describes the components of the language portfolio, in particular the "Language passport", "Language biography", "Dossier" and notes their content. The article distinguishes between standardized European language portfolios and language portfolios that can serve separately to achieve language, speech, linguistic and sociocultural goals and be combined with educational and methodological material from the discipline of the German language.
A number of advantages of introducing a language portfolio with the aim of modeling the German-speaking environment with the help of Internet technologies, in particular a blog, which provides convenience for its use, are given.
