CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF A TEACHER OF THE NEW UKRAINIAN SCHOOL: THEORETICAL ASPECTS AND INNOVATIVE PRACTICES

The article substantiates the relevance of continuous professional development of teachers in the conditions of modern challenges and contradictions occurring in society.
An analysis of the regulatory and legal framework, pedagogical and scientific works of both Ukrainian and foreign researchers, which reveal the problem of continuous professional development of teachers, was carried out and the formula for the professional development of a teacher of the New Ukrainian School was determined.
The author presented the methodical simulator «developed and tested in the region. A model of the individual trajectory of the teacher's professional development», which enables teachers to design their own professional development in the inter-certification period on the basis of continuity and integrity and to monitor the dynamics of quantitative and qualitative indicators of mastering competencies and areas of professional skill.
The advantages of institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education in designing an individual trajectory of professional development combining formal, non-formal and informal education are substantiated, and the role of centers of professional development of pedagogical workers in providing support for teachers in planning their own professional growth is also determined.
On the basis of a survey of directors and consultants of professional development centers of teaching staff, an analysis of the practical value of the methodical simulator «Model of the individual trajectory of the teacher's professional development was carried out, the strengths were taken into account and the problems of its use were identified. The opinion of the respondents encourages the author to improve and correct the methodical simulator and organize the educational process on the basis of the Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education of the Chernivtsi region, which makes it possible to adjust the system of designing continuous training of teachers throughout life.
