Methodological features of the formation of research competence of future navy officers in the process of professional training

Abstract

The author suggested using different types of tasks to form the research competence of future naval officers in the process of professional training: proof tasks, the method of solving which is chosen independently. Even if at first the proof is done according to a sample (which is also useful, as it develops algorithmic thinking), in the future, the cadets need to find their own version of the solution; undefined and over-defined tasks that form attentiveness to the initial data, allowing to reveal the insufficiency (inconsistency) of the given conditions; inverse problems in which the solution method and result are known and the output data must be set. Solving such tasks not only activates educational and cognitive activity, but also promotes the development of flexibility of thinking, prepares cadets to master the reverse operation, teaches methods of checking results and, finally, develops intelligence; compilation of structural and logical block diagrams (topic, section, subject, proof of theorems, algorithms for solving typical problems), which helps cadets to analyze and systematize educational material, to highlight the main points in it; tasks of a practical orientation, necessary for awareness and understanding of the close connection of the subject with life, the foundations of other sciences, for preparation for the use of mathematical knowledge in future professional activities; evaluation and analytical tasks that develop the ability to analyze, apply theoretical material, evaluate work; design and technological tasks that develop the ability to put forward hypotheses, draw up a solution plan, use certain research methods, generalize, draw conclusions, design and present the result.
