PERFORMANCE DYNAMICS OF AIR PISTOL SHOOTERS AT THE CHAMPIONSHIP OF UKRAINE

High-quality training of athletes in air pistol shooting is possible only after a detailed and thorough analysis of shooting characteristics. Achieving a high sports result consists of a successful combination of all types of training. The sequence of the combination of means for improvement will depend on the characteristics that have been analyzed. The training of athletes in the group of preliminary basic training is aimed at forming high-quality skills of technical and tactical mastery in the chosen sport, that is, a solid foundation for further improvement of sportsmanship. Training air pistol shooters is a difficult and intensive training process. The educational and training session is conducted in accordance with the scientific and methodological support and is regulated by the modern competition rules. The qualitative aspect of each lesson is the fulfillment of the prescribed task and the achievement of high sports results. The selection of means and methods takes place on the basis of an appropriately conducted analysis of the results of competitive activity. It was established that the strongest relationships are found between the result and the location of hits in the horizontal plane, and less strong relationships are found between the result and the location of hits in the vertical plane. In this case, during the improvement of the sportsmanship of shooters, it is necessary to pay attention to the process of choosing means for training, in accordance with the obtained results of the analysis. We recorded a very weak relationship in 50% - 67% of shooters, a weak relationship in 17% - 28%, a medium strength relationship in 6% - 17%, and a strong relationship in 6% of athletes, among the studied characteristics. The relationship changed according to the characteristics of the athletes' preparedness, according to the focus of attention on the technique of execution of the shot.
